Well since it's been 3 months since I last blogged I have a lot of catching up to do. In March Slater turned 5 and he had his first friend party. He is a very party focused boy so all year long I here "mom, I want this birthday party." It changes constantly. So he settled on a Lego birthday party. We ended up having about 10 boys here. I was a little overwhelmed but had plenty of help and it was a lot of fun. The Lego guy (nephew Luke) even showed up and signed autographs. For Slater's actual day of his birthday he begged Grandpa Sid to stay home from Church with him. So he celebrated in real style and didn't get out of his jammies all day.
Mark and I celebrated 11 years of blissful marriage this year. I love it that we got married in 2000 so I don't have to do any math to remember how many years it's been. I love being married to my best friend. It's by far the best decision I've made and I'm glad he sticks around through all the crazy. So enjoy the birthday pics.
